Gary Lee Ebersold, age 69, of Cameron, MO, departed this life on September 13, 2026, at his home. He was born September 19, 1956, in Maysville, MO, to Edwin Ray and Eva Leona (Jones) Ebersold.
On February 19, 1978, he married Tracey Jo Lewis in Cameron, MO, and she survives as well as two daughters: Tara Hahn, Cameron; and Cassie (Justin) Bottorff, Cameron. Gary leaves four grandchildren: Claire, Anna, Cade and Michael; his brother Dennis (Debbie) Ebersold; Greg’s wife, RaVae; five nephews and a host of extended family and friends.
Gary was predeceased by his parents; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bob and Jan Lewis; and his brother-in-law, Greg Lewis.
Gary leaves behind the rewards of a life well lived: a family who knew they were loved, a community he faithfully served, a business built on treating people right, and a lifetime of stories that will undoubtedly be told with laughter.
Visitation will be held from 1-3 pm at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home in Cameron on Monday, September 21, 2026, with services at 3 pm, conducted by Pastor Terry Beasley. Graveside will be at Cameron Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to First Baptist Church, Cameron, MO.
