Wilma traveled extensively, collecting unique art pieces from around the world, and maintained a vibrant involvement in the P.E.O. organization, supporting and inspiring women nationwide. Her hobbies also included reading, antiquing, photography, and socializing with friends. She was a long-time member of the Hamilton Federated Church, where she found a loving community.
In later years, Wilma cherished the time spent on her farm, engaging in bridge, crossword puzzles, and enjoying visits from family and friends. Her home was a hub of warmth, reflecting her ever-present smile and love for good company.
Wilma's legacy is carried on by her granddaughters, Brittany (partner Miles), Alyssa, and Catherine (husband Daniel), along with her great-grandchildren, Miles Junior, Jaxson, Laszlo, and Kevin. She was preceded in death by her son, Gregg Heath Coffman; her husband, Richard Coffman; and her siblings, Dorothy, Esther, Clarence, and Elton.
A memorial service to celebrate Wilma's life will be held at the Federated Church, Hamilton, MO., on Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her honor may be made to the Hamilton Federated Church or to P.E.O. International, reflecting her lifelong commitment to faith and the empowerment of women.
