For many Cameron families, summer means early mornings at the Aquatic Center as part of the Cameron Sea Dragons Swim Team. The sounds of splashing water, wet feet slapping against the pool deck and coaches calling out instruction and encouragement are all common sounds. Nearby, parents gather, some sitting in lawn chairs, mingling with other swim parents as practice takes place. Together, this creates something special that goes beyond learning swimming strokes.
