October is officially here, and the Cameron Dragon Marching Band and Color Guard are hard at work preparing for the 2026 marching competition season. That also means the streets of Cameron will soon be filled with visiting students, families, and music enthusiasts as the community prepares to welcome the eighth annual Marchfest on Saturday, October 17, 2026.
Held in the heart of Cameron, Marchfest brings youth and their families from throughout the region to compete in drumline, color guard, and field show competitions. The event is made possible through the cooperation of the Cameron R-1 School District, Cameron Band Boosters, and the City of Cameron.
