Cameron, Missouri- Floyd David Packard, 68, of Cameron, passed away February 2, 2025. He was born in Cameron, Missouri on August 30, 1956 to Floyd and Marjorie (Goodrich) Packard.
David graduated from Cameron High School in 1974. He married Beth Perry on September 14,1974, celebrating 50 years of marriage.
He worked as a communication tech for GTE for 30 years before retiring. His greatest joy was time spent with his wife Beth and their children and grandchildren. David enjoyed reading, fishing and working on computers.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Marjorie Packard.
Survivors: wife, Beth, of the home; children, Brad (Jennifer Spurgeon) Packard, Cameron, Missouri and Jenny (Clint) Watkins, Platte City, Missouri; 6 grandchildren, Sierra, Trent, Holden, Garrett, Tommy, and Emilee; 1 great-grandchild, Alijah; sisters, April (Steve) Dozier, Nixa, Missouri and Mary (Chris) Knab, Cameron, Missouri; along with several nieces and nephews.
Graveside Service: 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Packard Cemetery
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Linda’s Precious Pets Cameron Animal Care Facility and/or St. Luke's Hospice House. Donations may be sent to the family, delivered to city hall or left at the funeral home.
