Cameron, MO- Charlotte Ann Thompson, 95, of Cameron, passed away February 5, 2025. She was born March 10, 1929 to Ralph and Velma (Babbitt) Hayter in Stewartsville, MO.
Charlotte was a 1947 graduate of Stewartsville High School. On May 9, 1948 she married Norman Thompson at Osborn Baptist Church. She was a house wife and helped with the family farm. She was a longtime member of the Osborn Baptist Church.
Charlotte enjoyed sewing, gardening and always helped Norman on the farm. She always enjoyed her kids, grandkids and great grandkids sporting events and extra-curricular activities. She specifically enjoyed keeping stats at all sporting events.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Velma; husband Norman; brother, Gerald Hayter.
Charlotte is survived by daughters, Barbara Leer, Cameron, MO and Carol Thompson, Liberty, MO; granddaughter, Jennifer (Jason) Jones; grandsons, Jeremy Leer, Chris (Lindsay) Thompson, Ryan (Chelsea) Graham, Austin Graham; 7 great grandchildren.
Services will be 1:30 PM, Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Poland-Thompson Chapel. Visitation 1:00-1:30 prior to the service. Burial, Osborn Evergreen Cemetery.
