KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A Sweet Springs man has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges alleging he manufactured explosive materials without a license, possessed unregistered destructive devices and distributed online instructions showing viewers how to make explosives.
Federal prosecutors announced Friday that Jordan Derrick, 40, faces four federal counts, including engaging in the business of manufacturing explosive materials without a license, unlawful possession of unregistered destructive devices, unlawful possession of components readily convertible into destructive devices, and distributing information related to manufacturing explosives.
