Kelly Pettijohn of Cameron recently discovered the village of Sleepy Hollow on a business trip to New York City. It is the location of Washington Irving’s famous tale, “The Legend of Sleepy Hollow”.
The village is around 25 miles north of New York City. Some people consider Sleepy Hollow to be “the most haunted site in the world”. Pettijohn reports that is really is a “spooky place”, despite being home to many wealthy people today.
