Last Saturday, seven candidates for the Cameron R-I Board of Education gathered for a public forum at the former Town and Country Church, offering residents an opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with those seeking office.
Attendance was modest, but the event provided extended, one-on-one interaction between candidates and community members, allowing for more in-depth discussion than is often possible in larger settings.
