Public Safety Committee Supports Fire Department Storage Building Proposal

The Cameron Public Safety Committee has expressed support for a proposal that would allow the Cameron Fire Department to pursue plans for a new storage building during the city's upcoming budget planning process.

During the committee's June 18 meeting, Fire Chief Mike O'Donnell discussed the department's need for additional storage space, reviewed departmental statistics, outlined past improvements made to the Public Safety Building, and shared future goals for the department.
