New Partnership Creates Cameron Activity Center

Young at Heart Resources (YAHR) and the Cameron Regional YMCA have announced a new partnership aimed at expanding opportunities for community engagement, events, and future programming in Cameron.

Effective June 1, 2026, the Cameron Regional YMCA began leasing and managing the former senior center portion of the YAHR building, which will now operate as the Cameron Activity Center. The partnership was developed through discussions between the boards of both organizations, which determined that working together was the best way to maximize the use of the facility and ensure its long-term sustainability.
