Joyce began her remarkable career with Farmers State Bank on May 24, 1976, starting in the bookkeeping department. Over the next 12 years, she became a trusted and steady presence in the bank’s daily operations, eventually serving as head bookkeeper.
She later moved into the role of Executive Secretary, a position she has held for the past 38 years. In a community bank, that title represents far more than it suggests. Joyce has long been someone others rely on—for her knowledge, her consistency, and her quiet leadership. Today, she serves as the Human Resource Administrator, oversees payroll, manages shareholder relations, and acts as Secretary to the Board of Directors, playing a vital role in both the day-to-day and long-term success of the bank.
