A Kidder man is one of five people facing federal charges in connection with an alleged plan to attack attendees at a UFC event held at the White House last Sunday.
According to federal court documents, Daniel Eskridge of Kidder, Missouri, is accused of helping organize the plot, which allegedly targeted elected officials and other high-profile individuals. Investigators say the group discussed using explosive-equipped drones to create chaos before carrying out shootings targeting government leaders, prominent business executives, and others attending the event. A news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office stated that electrical power grids were also considered as potential targets.
