Missouri U.S. Senator Josh Hawley has launched a congressional investigation into ongoing mail service issues at the United States Postal Service (USPS), citing concerns over delayed deliveries, reports of abandoned mail, and executive bonus payments.
The investigation follows a recent Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing, where Hawley questioned Postmaster General David Steiner about persistent mail delivery problems affecting Missouri residents. During the hearing, Hawley also criticized bonus compensation awarded to USPS executives while service issues continue across the state.
