The Cameron Dragons have a little bounce in their step heading into the final stretch of the regular season after posting back-to-back 11-2 wins over Breckenridge and Braymer on April 20. With a crowded run of games still ahead, Cameron has a chance to turn those victories into some real late-season momentum.
The Dragons entered the week at 5-10 overall and were coming off one of their better offensive stretches of the season. After Tuesday’s matchup with Lexington, Cameron was set to return to the field April 23 for home games against Stewartsville and Osborn. The Dragons also still had games remaining against South Harrison on April 28, Excelsior Springs on April 30, Savannah on May 1, Lawson on May 4, Bishop LeBlond on May 5, Maysville on May 8, Benton on May 11, Lathrop on May 12 and East Buchanan on May 14.
