CAMERON, Mo. — A project inspired by a local fifth grader’s battle with leukemia earned two Cameron High School students a third-place finish at the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America national competition earlier this month in Washington, D.C.
Incoming sophomore Ella Lowenstein and incoming senior Shelby Worth presented their project July 6-10, highlighting their efforts to support fellow Cameron student Gracelyn Bickford and her family during Gracelyn’s leukemia treatment.
