CAMERON — Cameron R-I officials say recent wastewater testing results have raised legitimate concern, but they are also cautioning the community against reading those findings as direct proof of a significant student drug problem.
That message emerged from the district’s public wastewater meeting and from follow-up responses provided by Superintendent Matt Robinson and several school board members. Together, those responses frame the wastewater results as a broad public-health signal rather than a clear picture of student behavior.
