The Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office has charged 26 year old Travis Alexander Collins Jr. from Cameron, Missouri with three felonies in connection with an alleged shooting, including first-degree assault, armed criminal action and endangering the welfare of a child.
According to court records, the Cameron Police Department received a 911 call on August 1, 2026 at approximately 7:03 p.m. from a female who reported her brother had been shot. Upon arrival to the residence located on South Chestnut Street, officers found a male laying in the driveway with a gunshot wound to the chest. Cameron EMS arrived on scene and provided care to the victim who was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center and later transported by LifeFlight to a Kansas City area hospital.
