The Cameron R-I Board of Education on Tuesday heard an emotional presentation on the role of paraprofessionals, discussed possible conference realignment, reviewed legislative concerns and approved several key items involving employee insurance, salary schedules and district technology services. The meeting agenda included reports on paraprofessionals, conference alignment, a legislative update, the 2025 bond issue, board policies and administrative updates from across the district.
Board President Andi Lockridge, Vice President Ryan Murphy, Jackie Peck, Jason Cross and Staci Earley were present. Ann Goodwin Clark and Dan Kercher were absent. Superintendent Dr. Matt Robinson and Dr. Angie Ormsby were present, along with incoming superintendent Dr. Lance McClard.
