The Cameron R-1 School District Board of Education met Tuesday, July 21 for its regular monthly meeting, marking the first regular board meeting led by Superintendent Dr. Lance McClard since assuming the district’s top leadership role.
Following approval of the consent agenda, Dr. McClard introduced a new Missouri School Boards Association monthly board report video segment. The five minute video highlights current topics affecting education in the state. Amendment 5 was the main topic as it relates to the foundation formula and the financial ramifications to public school districts if it were to pass.
