Busy days at First Christian Church

Cameron’s First Christian Church in Cameron reached an important milestone this year, celebrating 160 years of spiritual guidance to their members. They began ministering to their membership on May 13th of 1866. Membership is shepherded today by Pastors Russ and Theresa Hamilton.

Over the years they have chronicled their membership with pictorial directories. The current congregation owes much to those pictured in the older directories. Their dedication (originally 14 members) led to the strong membership of today; without those original members the church might not even exist. The church is a legacy to those founding members.
