Black & Goal’d Gala celebrates the people behind Cameron’s momentum

The Cameron Area Chamber of Commerce used its annual banquet not only to celebrate another year of work, but to shine a light on the people and organizations helping move the community forward.

Held April 10 at the Cameron Regional YMCA, this year’s “Black & Goal’d Gala” borrowed from the soccer energy building across the Kansas City region ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. But the focus of the night remained close to home: honoring the businesses, educators, volunteers and public servants who make a difference in Cameron every day.
