JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. – October 15, 2026, Missouri Attorney General Catherine Hanaway announced a significant expansion of her statewide investigation into 7‑OH and other synthetic kratom products sold in Missouri. Nine additional companies are now under investigation as Missourians continue to be exposed to highly addictive, illegally manufactured substances misleadingly marketed as “supplements” or “wellness” products. These substances include 7-OH, MGM-15, and other kratom‑derived compounds.
“Missourians are being led to believe that 7‑OH, MGM‑15, and similar chemicals are safe supplements. They are not. Do not consume these deadly products,” said General Hanaway. “These are illegal, dangerous drugs, and people, including children, are being harmed. Our office vows to use every tool we have to protect Missourians.”
