Anniversary – Randall and Barbara Relford

Randall and Barbara Relford will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on August 21, 2015. They were married at Coates Street Presbyterian Church in Moberly, Mo. in 1965.

They lived their first five years of marriage in Centertown, Mo. before moving to Cameron in 1970.

Barbara was born in Los Angeles, Calif. but moved to Moberly as a small child. She attended Christian College (now Columbia College), Louisiana State University and the University of Missouri-Columbia where she received a B.S. degree in Education. She retired from the Crossroads Correctional Center as a Probation and Parole Supervisor in 2003. She volunteers at Cameron Regional Medical Center and is an active member of Cameron United Methodist Church. She is also a member of Xi Epsilon Gamma sorority.

Randall was born in Moberly, Mo. He attended Moberly Area Community College and graduated from Northeast Missouri State University (now Truman State University) with a degree in Education and then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where he received a Masters in Education. He retired from the Cameron School District as the Middle School Principal in 1995. Randy was on the Cameron City Council and served as Mayor. He was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives for four terms and also served as Clinton County Commissioner for one term. Randy still remains active in the community. He volunteers at Cameron Regional Medical Center and is a member of Cameron United Methodist Church where he sings in the choir.

They are the parents of three sons, Robertson (Linda) Relford of St. Joseph, Mo., Bradley (Jennifer) Relford of Lancaster, Pa., and Thomas (Marcy) Relford of Kansas City, Mo. They have seven grandchildren, Jay, Eli, Ryne, Griffin, Taylor, Gage and Jackson.

There is a family vacation planned in Cancun later this year.
